[I'm probably interpreting this question wrong, but just to clarify: I'm answering it as if "dream pairing"="the kind of relationship you'd like to have in real life", which is completely different from "what pairing would totally be believable in real life". Being a romantic realist sucks, doesn't it.]

So if you asked me what two movies would I watch and NEVER GET TIRED OF EVER, my first answer would be Terminator 2: Judgment Day. And since there aren't any romantic pairings in that movie (unless you count That Deleted Scene, which, while a nice bonus, isn't really up there on my pairings list), then I guess I'm just going to have to go with my second answer instead. What it lacks in the firearms department, it makes up for in romance, more or less. @_@

My French teacher insisted the movie was about Amelie breaking out of her shell and connecting with people on different levels, and the romance was simply a way to tie up the movie nicely. Or something like that. *shrugs* Whatever, I ship it!

That movie never gets old for me. I like to pretend that any subsequent sequels never happened, though.
